Abstract
A brushless ac motor (BLACM) is described in this paper. The design of the control system and a mathematical description of it are studied. BLACM parameters are determined. An equation to describe a mechanical characteristic of a BLACM is given that takes into account for restricted current, voltage, and demagnetizing. Current control of a BLACM based on a static model in areas of constant torque and weak flux is presented.
