Abstract

The multi-user interference is an important factor that significantly affects the performance of ultra- wideband (UWB) system. Due to this assumption, we suggest a code optimization to reduce collisions with other users in time hopping-code division multiple access (TH-CDMA) for UWB system indoor communication with line-of-sight residential. To solve a code optimization problems, guided local search algorithm has been applied. To evaluate our method, we tackle the bit error rate (BER) performance analysis. Computer simulation results have shown that optimized skew tent map chaotic-TH-CDMA sequences achieve considerable improvement in terms of the BER that justifies the optimization process.
