Abstract

Texas Instruments has controlled access to its corporate computer facility for four years by voice authentication. Imposter acceptance rate is less than 2%. User rejection rate averages 0.5%, with 0.2% rejection between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 0.9% between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. User rejection rate is 0.3% for single entrants and 0.8% for accompanied entrants. An analysis of this system's voice authentication performance will be presented.
