Abstract
In this work, non-Orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) power line communication (PLC) decode and forward networks with imperfect successive interference cancellation (ISIC) are considered. A closed-form analytical derivation for the NOMA-PLC network’s outage probability in presence of ISIC is presented. Analytical derivation of the NOMA-PLC system throughput with ISIC is also presented. To mitigate the ISIC’s severe impact on the outage probability and system throughput, optimal values for the NOMA-PLC users’ power allocation factor are analytically derived and presented. Further, Simulation and numerical results demonstrate the validation of all the derived analytical ones.
