Abstract

Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are widespread around the world providing users with several services from GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU satellites. Localization and positioning applications use GNSS receivers to find navigation position. Thus, the implementation of a reconfigurable multi-constellation receiver should be highlighted. This paper presents a reconfigurable GNSS receiver setup based on the sub-sampling architecture. First, the evaluation of the sampling frequencies for different scenarios is performed in order to include various standards at the same time. Then, experimental assessment to detect the visible satellites while handling GPS and GLONASS signals are successfully established and it validates the proposed multi standard GNSS sub-sampling receiver operation for GPS and GLONASS.
