Abstract
In this paper, a Multi-Carrier Quadrature Chaos Shift Keying (MC-QCSK) modulation is presented. It harvests the merits of QCSK and Multi-Carrier Differential Chaos Shift Keying (MC-DCSK). Energy efficiency and spectrum efficiency of MC-QCSK are improved relative to MC-DCSK. The Bit Error Rate (BER) expression of MC-QCSK is derived firstly. According to the BER expression, the sub-carriers power allocation of MC-QCSK is investigated. The optimal power ratio between reference and information sub-carriers is derived by convex optimization. Numerical and simulation results highlight the considerable BER performance gain of the optimal power allocations scenario when the number of sub-carriers is large.
