Abstract

The Dayak Tonyooi Benuaq Creative Economy Centre is a place used to introduce and offer their creative economy products. The method used in planning the Dayak Tonyooi Benuaq creative economy centre building begins with primary data collection (field surveys and observations) and secondary data collection (literature and data studies) as well as data analysis methods (macro analysis, micro analysis and spatial analysis). The planning of the Dayak Tonyooi Benuaq Creative Economy Centre Building aims to accommodate the activities of the Dayak Tonyooi Benuaq creative economy practitioners. The results of the planning design of the Dayak Tonyooi Benuaq creative economy centre will apply a contemporary vernacular architectural approach. The application of a building roof that has a contemporary shape expresses the waves of the Mahakam river as a local feature by using modern fabricated materials according to the characteristics of contemporary architecture
