Abstract
This paper aims to combine kansei engineering and interactive genetic algorithm for the perceptual optimization design of handheld fan cultural and creative product form, and to provide new methodological ideas for design of cultural and creative product form. Based on the theory of kansei engineering, this paper uses principal component analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient analysis to determine the subjective preference data of users for the handheld fans and uses semiotics theory to analyze the cultural characteristics of traditional batik costumes of Miao in Guizhou Province, obtain the unit set of product form characteristics, establish the correlation model between cultural perceptual imagery and product form elements, and through the analysis of user perceptual imagery, the best solution of the handheld fan cultural and creative product form is derived. Through the results of the kansei engineering study, the morphological feature unit of the handheld fan was constructed; by interactive genetic algorithm, a design solution with high consensus satisfaction was output. The method is applied to the perceptual optimization design in order to narrow the search space, which can meet users' subjective preferences more efficiently and accurately, with feasibility and practicality.
