Abstract

As the COVID-19 pandemic threatens an academic calendar, educational institutes throughout the world have closed. For continuing the academic tasks, utmost institutions (educational) have opted for Online Learning (OL) platforms. Additionally, amid the pandemic, students have been extremely susceptible to Mental Health (MH) issues. It was exhibited by the researchers that perceived stress together with MH issues has augmented amid the pandemic. The identification of the insight of school students concerning online education along with their Stress Level (SL) amid the covid-19 pandemic is this work’s main objective. An online questionnaire is distributed to 800 Indian school students, utilizing which, a survey was carried out after ‘10’ weeks of just OL. By utilizing routine statistical software, data amassed as of the survey were analyzed. The main cons are the lack of interactions with teachers, technical intricacy, and also poor networking signal, which was chosen by most respondents. OL could not substitute formal learning, even though it works as a short-term alternative on account of COVID-19. The study will be used for knowing the importance of the learning technologies which can be used during the disaster and Government & education institutes can improve the technology enhanced learning in future days.
