Abstract
The present study intends to find a relation between childrenś perceived restoration and their environmental orientations. In order to do that, a designed perceived restoration scale adapted from the PRCS-C II (Bagot, Kuo & Allen, 2007) was used as well as an adapted version of the Childrenś Environmental Perceptions Scale (CEPS) (Larson et al., 2009). A total of 832 children aged between 6 and 13 participated in the study. The results show that there is a relation between the perceived restoration produced by the nature present in the school playground and the environmental orientations children show.
