The purpose of this study was to reveal the colors produced in the dyeing of cotton material using natural dyes of young coconut coir extract and old coconut coir extract with mordan coconut water, as well as differences in dyeing results based on the dark aspects of light colors and the evenness of color in cotton material using dyes natural young coconut coir extract and old coconut coir extract with mordan coconut water. This type of research is an experimental research method of data collection using a questionnaire arranged with a Likert scale with answer choices Rating scale. The data source in this study can be assisted by PKP FPP UNP teaching staff as experts in the textile field as many as 3 people and 12 students who have passed the textile analysis course. Data analysis techniques were processed and arranged in a tabular form, then analyzed with one-way ANOVA one-way analysis of variance processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) Version 17.0. From the results of the analysis of variance data about the color of young coconut fiber obtained Dark Salmon Pink color. The results of the color names on old coconut coir produce Muddy Waters Brown color. Data analysis Dark color of young coconut coir extract obtained sig value of 0.033 which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 or 0.033 0.05, there is no significant difference in the results of dyeing using young coconut coir extract and old coconut coir extract on cotton material with mordan coconut water on the color evenness
