PERANCANGAN PRODUK TAS ORGANIZER PRODUKSI UMKM KULIT TANGGULANGIN (CV. DWI JAYA ABADI) DENGAN MATERIAL KULIT DAN PVC

Abstract

ABSTRACT
 The design of this bag product is designed to harmonize the conditions of the community during the COVID-19 pandemic who still likes to travel for shopping or work which requires leaving the house and meeting other people. A bag product for the pandemic is made using leather and PVC Sheet which has an organic layout from the inside to the outside with a multifunctional strap that can be adjusted to the desired conditions of use. Contains an organizer bag that has a special hand sanitizer and the outside uses a waterproof PVC sheet and can be cleaned using wet wipes or water. The condition of the COVID-19 pandemic has been widely known to attack many sectors in Indonesia, for example, Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) are affected in the economy, workforce, public interest, and competition with foreign products. Under normal conditions, sales made by MSME leather bag craftsmen are able to make an average of 1000 bags of various models, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, sales decreased by 50-60%. The condition of the COVID-19 pandemic has really hit MSME actors, even though the government has realized the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) funds for the Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (KUMKM) sector. This implementation is regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2020 (PP 23/2020). Of course, it will not cover the lack of capital that has been provided if the attractiveness produced by MSMEs is not able to attract people's purchasing power. The method used is qualitative, which includes online interviews and observations. Respondents are limited to the age of 19 to 21 years are students who actively travel for university activities or odd jobs. The final synthesis of the research has the result that bags that are waterproof, functional, and have a simple shape are very popular in this pandemic condition.

 Perancangan produk tas ini dirancang untuk menyelaraskan kondisi masyarakat di kala pandemi COVID-19 yang masih gemar berpergian untuk belanja maupun bekerja yang mengharuskan keluar rumah dan bertemu dengan orang lain. Dibuatlah produk tas untuk pandemi yang menggunakan bahan kulit dan PVC Sheet yang memiliki tata letak organis dari dalam hingga luar dengan multifungsi strap yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kondisi yang kegunaan yang diinginkan. Berisikan organizier tas yang memiliki sekat khusus hand sanitizier dan bagian luar yang menggunakan PVC Sheet yang antiair dan dapat dibersihkan menggunakan tisu basah maupun air. Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 sudah terkenal luas menyerang banyak sektor di Indonesia contohnya pelaku Usaha Menengah, Kecil dan Mikro (UMKM) yang terserang pada bagian ekonomi, tenaga kerja, daya minat masyarakat, dan persaingan dengan produk luar. Pada kondisi normal, penjualan yang dilakukan oleh UMKM pengrajin tas kulit mampu membuat rata-rata 1000 tas dari berbagai model, namun ketika pandemi COVID-19 penjualan mengalami penurunan sebesar 50-60%. Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 ini memang benar-benar memukul pelaku UMKM, meskipun pemerintah telah merealisasikan dana Program Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN) untuk sektor Koperasi dan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (KUMKM) pelaksanaan ini diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 23 Tahun 2020 (PP 23/2020). Tentunya tidak akan menutupi kurangnya modal yang sudah diberikan jika daya tarik yang diproduksi oleh UMKM tidak mampu menarik daya beli masyarakat. Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitatif yaitu meliputi wawancara dan observasi secara daring. Responden dibatasi pada usia 19 sampai dengan 21 tahun merupakan mahasiswa yang aktif berpergian untuk kegiatan universitas maupun kerja sambilan. Sintesa akhir penelitian memilki hasil bahwa tas yang memiliki bahan antiair, fungsional, dan memiliki bentuk simple sangat digemari pada kondisi pandemi ini.
