Abstract
In a train accident, many factors that can be contribute. Indonesia transportation ministry said the causes of train accidents into several factors, such as facilities, infrastructure, operators, external, and natural. Human error is a factor in a train accident in Indonesia. The example of human error is machinist inattention while controlling the train. There is a test application vigilance level of operator, one of them with the application Psychomotor Vigilance Task (PVT). However, testing using PVP is very simple and only uses variables drowsiness (sleepiness) and tiredness (fatigue) only. Furthermore, the design does vigilance testing new applications by adding variable monotone. The output of this application is supporting data to accident analysis applications Human Factor Analysis and Classification System-Indonesia Railroad (HFACS-IR) developed previously.
