Abstract
Abstract The rapid development in the current era of globalization in the industrial sector. causing companies to face increasingly serious problems due to increasing work demands. Employees often experience mental health problems and prolonged stress (burnout) which will have an impact on their lives and work. The success or failure experienced by an organization is largely determined by the quality of leadership it possesses. Transformational leadership style is considered a leadership model that is able to overcome problems that occur in an organization or company. This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership and burnout among employees at PT. X. The method applied in this research is a correlational design with a quantitative approach, involving all 62 employees of PT. The instruments used were the transformational leadership scale and the burnout scale by applying the Spearman Brown correlation test analysis technique. The results of the analysis show that both variables have a significant negative relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership and burnout, meaning that the higher the perception of transformational leadership, the lower the burnout experienced by employees. Conversely, the lower the perception of transformational leadership, the higher the burnout experienced by employees. Abstrak Pesatnya perkembangan di era globalisasi bidang industri masa kini. menyebabkan perusahaan menghadapi masalah yang semakin berat karena tuntutan pekerjaan yang semakin meningkat.Seringkali karyawan mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental dan stress berkepanjangan (burnout) yang akan berdampak pada kehidupannya maupun pekerjaannya. Kesuksesan ataupun kegagalan yang dialami organisasi sebagian besar ditentukan oleh kualitas kepemimpinan yang dimiliki. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap sebagai model kepemimpinan yang mampu mengatasi masalah yang terjadi di suatu organisasi atau perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional dengan burnout pada karyawan di PT. X.Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain korelasional dengan pendekaataan kuantitatif, yang melibatkan seluruh karyawan PT.X sebanyak 62 karyawan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu dengan skala kepemimpinan transformasional dan skala burnout dengan menerapkan teknik analisis uji korelasi spearman brown. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kedua variabel memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan antara persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional dengan burnout, artinya semakin tinggi persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional maka akan semakin rendah burnout yang dialami karyawan. Sebaliknya, apabila semakin rendah persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional maka akan semakin tinggi burnout yang dialami karyawan.
