Abstract

Johan Pahlawan District, one of the sub-districts in West Aceh Regency, is led by the Camat. This study aims to identify the role of the Camat's leadership in Improving Employee Performance at the Johan Pahlawan District Office. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and predecessor journals. In this study, the authors used qualitative methods and primary data collection, namely interviewing researchers with respondents (Camat, and staff at the Johan Pahlawan sub-district office). Based on the research results, the Camat's leadership role is very influential in Improving Employee Performance at the Johan Pahlawan District Office, this can be seen from the leadership role and leadership style of the Camat which is able to improve employee performance in carrying out better public services.
