Abstract

<p><em>This study aims to determine (1) The Role of Teachers in Motivating The Learning of Students at SMKN 1 Surakarta Staffing (2) Teacher Obstacles in Motivating Learning of Students at SMKN 1 Surakarta Staffing (3) Teacher Solutions to overcome Obstacles in Motivating Learning of Students at SMKN 1 Surakarta Staffing. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. The data sources of this study consist of OTKP Teachers of SMKN 1 Surakarta, OTKP Students of SMKN 1 Surakarta, Head of the OTKP Expertise Program of SMKN 1 Surakarta, and documents related to the role of teachers in motivating student learning. The sampling technique is carried out by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The validity tests used are engineering triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that (1) The role of the teacher in motivating student learning is: a) Guiding and approaching students, b) Giving gifts, c) Giving praise. (2) Teacher constraints in motivating student learning are: a) Limited quotas and internet coverage, b) a lack of variation in the learning methods used by teachers, c) Students who are less responsive. (3) Teacher solutions to overcome obstacles are: a) Sharing sessions between teachers, b) Providing guidance to students through a humanist approach, c) Making learning creative and innovative.</em></p>
