Abstract

Abstract Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences have influenced and used by language teachers in vary of teaching learning strategies. One of the school which is used it was SD Islamic International School PSM Magetan. This Study aimed to describe and explain the limplementation of multiple intelligences-based strategy in Indonesian language writing at SD Islamic International School PSM Magetan. This study used qualitative descriptive approach in the form of case study research. The data resources in this study were place and events, informants and documents. Sampling techniques used in this research were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques did by observation, interviews and documents analysis. The validity of the data of this research used triangulation methods, triangulation of sources, and review with informants. The data analysis techniques used interactive analysis. The research revealed were teaching-learning istruments well planned and prepared, teachers used various of teaching learning strategies and methods integrated with multiple intelligences in writing, the assessment used on multiple intelligences-based strategy in Indonesian language writing was authentic assessment and some obstacles found out on implementing writing based on Multiple Intelligence strategy, but it could be solved by teacher and school stakeholder.
