Abstract
This is a descriptive qualitative study which aims to know the role of BUMDes in improving the welfare of farmers in Lembah Makmur Village. The finding shows that BUMDes “Jaya Makmur” seeks to realize and improve the welfare of farmers through employment, growing community economic activites, providing easy access to business and increasing the original village income (PADes) of Lembah Makmur. By the establishment of a drugs business unit, BUMDes “Jaya Makmur” has an important role in operating the drug business unit for farmers in Lembah Makmur village.
