Abstract

The work described here analyzes the panorama of Brazilian productions with articulation between Chemistry Education and Critical Thinking (CP), characterizing them, in theoretical and methodological aspects, after identifying the areas expressed by the investigations. For this, a qualitative research of the bibliographic research type was carried out, which took place through the survey of works in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The analyses point to a growing number of studies related to the scope investigated, which undertake their studies in various contexts. Thus, this research can assist in possible investigations, by evidencing results, challenges and future proposals described by the analyzed investigations, helping in the panoramic weaving on the CP in Chemistry Education.
