Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the increase in children's social and emotional development through the demonstration method for group B children at Kindergarten Falasifa Surabaya. This type of research uses the classroom. Action Research (PTK). This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. With four stages each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research consisted of 13 group B children at Kindergarten Falasifa Surabaya. The research results obtained show that the development of children's social and emotional abilities has increased through demonstration methods in aspects of children's socialization and controlling children's emotions. The increase was large, with an average value of 56.03% in cycle I and an average value of 80.15% in cycle II. Therefore, children's social and emotional development can be improved through demonstration methods.
