Abstract

Post Partum Blues is a form of emotional disturbance due to adjustments to the birth of a baby that appears on the first day to the fourteenth day after delivery, with symptoms peaking on the fifth day. People are not aware of this disease so it is not diagnosed and not treated properly. Ultimately, this can cause quite difficult problems, which can develop into a more serious condition, namely post-partum depression. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge of postpartum mothers about post partum blues at TPMB Fifin NIS, Puri District, Mojokerto Regency. The results of Community Service were an increase of 45.4%, score ?-value = 0.02 (?-value <0.05) after providing health education about post partum blues. Conclusion: The community service activities that have been carried out in the form of providing health promotion about Post Partum Blues can effectively increase the knowledge of postpartum mothers about Post Partum Blues. It is recommended that providing health promotion regarding Post Partum Blues can be applied in providing early midwifery care for postpartum mothers
