Abstract

Class III thematic learning with the material contained in Theme 6. Energy and its Changes, Sub-theme 3. Alternative Energy at SD Negeri Geneng 2 Magelang so far still uses methods and models that are less innovative and still tend to be monotonous. This causes students to be bored, bored, and passive so that the level of motivation and thematic learning outcomes that contain the material has not been mastered optimally. The purpose of the study was to increase motivation and thematic learning outcomes through the Quantum Teaching-learning model with Interactive PowerPoint media in third-grade students of SD Negeri Geneng 2 Magelang. The research was carried out in two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, and each cycle for two meetings with thematic learning taken from class III. The results showed that the motivation and thematic learning outcomes increased which could be seen from the initial conditions, Cycle I and Cycle II. This shows that using the quantum teaching-learning model with interactive PowerPoint media can increase motivation and thematic learning outcomes in third-grade students at SD Negeri Geneng 2 Magelang.

Prosedur Pelaksanaan Tindakan

Perbaikan pembelajaran berdasarkan temuan dari permasalahan yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi awal dan wawancara serta evaluasi terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Tahap tindakan dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan, yaitu : 1) Siklus I a) Membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model Quantum b) Melaksanakan prosedur pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Quantum Teaching tipe Tandur berbasis power point interaktif. Quantum Teaching tipe Tandur yang dilakukan peneliti, guru yang menjadi obeserver dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Selanjutnya guru mengamati proses kegiatan pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung, diantaranya: 1) Melakukan observasi terhadap proses belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran model Quantum Teaching tipe Tandur. Menurut (Kunandar, 2009)), observasi adalah kegiatan pengambilan data untuk memotret seberapa jauh efek tindakan telah mencapai sasaran, dapat disimpulkan bahwa observasi ini dilaukan untuk mengamati proses pembelajaran siswa dan tindaan guru selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan dari beberapa ahli, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi merupakan cara pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap apa yang sedang di teliti
