Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the social studies learning process using the concept of environmental maps for class IV MIN 11 Banjar students. This research is a classroom action research carried out collaboratively between teachers and supervisors with the research subjects being class IV students of MIN 11 Banjar, totaling 13 people. Data collection was obtained from interviews, observations and tests. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results showed that using the concept of environmental maps in social studies learning could improve learning outcomes. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes before conducting research from 23.1% to 84.6%.
