Abstract

The results of observations at SDN Tanjungsari 02 Blitar found that Indonesian language learning about needs and desires was still considered very boring. This has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. In addition, the teacher still uses the lecture method and lacks innovation in his learning. The purpose of this study was to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning model in grade 1 SDN Tanjungsari 02 Blitar city. This study used classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle was conducted 2 times. The subjects of this study were 29 grade 1 students. This research technique uses observation and tests at the end of each learning cycle. The results of the class action research stated that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of grade 1 students in Indonesian language subjects. This can be seen from the average score of students in cycle I 78% to 85% in cycle II. The percentage of students' learning completeness also increased, namely in cycle I by 66% and in cycle II it increased to 86%
