Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop and test the content validity and effectiveness of the SFBC group counseling guidebook to reduce academic procrastination behavior of junior high school students. This research is a development research that adapts teh ADDIE development process. This research has gone through a content validity test uses 5 experts as experts. Data collection in this validity test was carried out using expert validity instruments which were analyzed using the CVR and CVI formulas as well as the t-test. The results of CVR = 24 and CVI = 1 this is included in special category. The effectiveness test in this study was carried out on a limited basis with 10 class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tegalalang as research subjects, using one group pretest and posttest design experiment. The results of the t-test were obtained namely tcount of 7.049 eith df = 9 at a significance level of 0.05 . Obtained t-table of 2.262 then tcount > ttable so that Ho is rejected. So this SFBC group counseling guidebook can be declared effective in reducing the procrastination behavior of junior high school students.
