Abstract

Modules are teaching materials that are systematically arranged and easily understood by students by taking into account the age and level of knowledge of students, so they can study independently at home. The modules will be designed in an attractive manner, easy to learn, and can answer the needs of students in the independent learning process. The objectives of the research in this study are 1) Knowing the development of the module with the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on the material of the digestive system; 2) Knowing the level of feasibility of the module with the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on the material of the digestive system.
This research is a research and development (Research and Development), with the Thiagarajan 4D development model in this study only the Define, Design, and Develop stages. Research Instruments in this research are 1) Needs analysis questionnaire; 2) Material expert validation sheet; 3) Material expert validation sheet and 4) Practitioner sheet. Data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis by taking into account the results of the validation of material experts and media experts. The results achieved in the module development research using the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on the digestive system material are media expert validation with a percentage of 93% with very feasible criteria, material expert validation with a percentage of 90% with very feasible criteria, and validation results from practitioners with a percentage of 92 % with very decent criteria.
