Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce handout teaching materials based on the student facilitator and explain models that are suitable for use by students, especially on the material of the digestive system in humans. The type of research used is and development (R&D) by following three stages adapted from the ADDIE development model compiled by dick and carry which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. However, researchers did not use the fourth and fifth stages because they took a very long time. The results of validation by several experts, namely material experts, media experts show that the handout based on the student facilitator and explaining model is valid and feasible to use. The conclusion of this study is that the handout based on the student facilitator and explaining learning model is valid and feasible to use as a learning resource which is expected to have an impact on activity student learning.
