Abstract

Curriculum changes from the 2013 curriculum to the independent curriculum made several schools need to complement the needs of existing teaching materials. This research has the aim of developing student worksheets (LKPD) based on a scientific approach to the content of class IV Elementary School Science Social material. This research is development research using the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The device developed is printed teaching materials in the form of LKPD on the material Appearance of Nature and Its Utilization. Data collection techniques with interviews, expert validation, and user response questionnaires. The subjects of the research validation were: 1 expert from PGSD lecturer, 2 educators or grade 4 teachers for feasibility test, and several students for trials. The results of the validation were declared valid with an average total score of 90% on the content aspect, 93% on the design aspect, and 93% on the language aspect. The three aspects of the validation results were declared fit for use without revision. The results of the user response questionnaire obtained a final result of 89.67% which was stated to have a very good or very feasible category to use.
