Abstract

The purpose of the development in this research is to develop Flipbook Maker-Based Biology Teaching Materials Combined with Problem Based Learning (PBL) Models in Cell Materials of Class XI High School Students. This type of research is development research. The development model used is a R&D development model consisting of 5 stages Namely data collection (information collection), planning, preliminary field testing (preliminary field testing), product revision (Dwiantoro & Kusumandari, 2016). The results of the research were given by material experts with a percentage of 92.85% with a very valid category, while research from a media expert lecturer with a percentage of 83.69% with a fairly valid category and an assessment of 10 students with a percentage of 93.33% and declared very valid. Based on the results of the assessment obtained, it can be concluded that the flipbook maker-based biology teaching materials are combined with the problem-based learning (PBL) model so that it can increase students' interest in learning this can be seen from the approach used including quantitative and qualitative approaches with data analysis techniques in the form of questionnaires. The response from the representatives of 10 students and the results obtained was a percentage of 93.33%, then the teaching material was declared "very valid" so that it could be tested.
