Abstract
The Covid-19 vaccination service in Kendari City is carried out in several health facility services, one of which is the puskesmas. The number of puskesmas in Kendari City is Fifteen (15) puskesmas, in March 2021 the target for the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination is 4151 doses, this will increase the volume of medical waste in Kendari City. ) at the health center in Kendari City. The research method uses quantitative and qualitative mixed methods to obtain more comprehensive, valid, reliable, and objective data. The research respondents are the person in charge of medical waste and the vaccinator team. Research at health centers in Kendari City, from 45 respondents related to medical waste sorting, obtained results in the Good Category, the container also obtained results in the Good Category, for the next stage the waste management was handed over to a third party, PT Mitra Hijau, including transportation, destruction and final disposal. Research shows that in the management of medical waste (covid-19 vaccine waste) at health centers throughout Kendari City, according to the provisions of the Minister of Health Regulation Number: 1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004 and the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 56 of 2015 related to the process of sorting, storing or collecting, transporting, destroying and final disposal by involving a third party, namely PT Mitra Hijau.
