Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a positive influence of Self Confidence on Work Performance at Simpang Jaya Village Office Village Officials. The type of data in this research uses quantitative data. The population and sample in this study were the Simpang Jaya Village Office Village Officials with a sample size of 39 people. With data collection techniques through questionnaires and data analysis used is quantitative analysis using a Likert Scale and SPSS version 25 program.. Research results: In testing the T test, the sig value was 0.000. The sig value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or the value 0.000 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The variable Self Confidence (X) has a calculated t of 5.103 with a t table of 2.026. This proves that the Self Confidence variable (X) is a variable that partially influences the Job Performance variable (Y) of Simpang Jaya Village Office Village Officials. In testing the R Test (Correlation Coefficient) it was found that the Pearson Correlation showed the number 0.636 where this number was between the values ​​0.61 – 0.80, which shows that these variables have a strong correlation relationship. These two values ​​also show positive numbers, which means that the higher the Self Confidence variable (X), the higher the Work Performance (Y). Testing the Coefficient of Determination test for the R Square column shows a value of 0.404 this shows that 40.4% of the Work Performance variable (Y) is influenced by the Self Confidence variable (X). Another 59.6% is influenced by other variables that influence the Job Performance (Y) variable for Simpang Jaya Village Office Village Officials which are not explained in this research.
