Abstract
This study aims to study the effect of perceived organizational support and work environment on employee performance through employee engagement at bank employees in the city of Surabaya. This study use a type of causality research that use quantitative. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling with the number of respondents as many as 85 people at bank employees in the city of Surabaya. The statistical analysis in this study used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the support of Smart PLS 3.3.3 software. The result shows that perceived organizational support and work environment wasn’t significant positive effect on employee performance, perceived organizational support was not significant positive on employee engagement, work environment has positive and significant effect on employe engagement, employee engagement has positive and significant effect on employee performance, perceived organizational support hasn’t indirect effect on employee performance through employee engagement, work environment has an indirect effect on employee performance through employee engagement.
