Abstract
This study aims to describe and determine the effect of authentic assessment of the improvement of learning discipline of students in Class VIII PPKn subjects SMP 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The total population of 126 students, with samples taken by 25% amounted to 32 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis technique using percentage formula, simple regression and processed with SPSS version 25 application. The results showed that the influence of authentic assessment of the improvement of learning discipline of Class VIII students in PPKn subjects of SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah.
