Abstract

Learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) is a cooperative learning model that can activate students in learning and improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of learning outcomes on the excretory system material through the application of a type cooperative learning modelTSTS class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasy experimental) and the design used ispretest-possttest control group design, which is one of the deep research designslike an experiment. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Makassar, totaling 6 classes with 216 students. The sample is determined usingpurposive sampling, so that class XI IPA 1 was obtained as the experimental group and class XI IPA 2 as the control group. Measurement of learning outcomes is done by giving a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices. The data were obtained using covariance analysis with the statistical results of covariance analysis for student learning outcomes = 0.000 concluded H0 rejected and H1 accepted, there is a positive influence on student learning outcomes on excretion system material through the application of cooperative learning models TSTS class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Makassar.
