Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of a scientific approach on the thematic learning motivation of class V students at Gugus Kartini Elementary School. The type of research used was experimental research by taking schools, namely SD Bergas Kidul 03 with a number of 20 students as the experimental class and SD Bergas Kidul 01 with a number of students 15 as the control class. The research results obtained were that there were significant differences in the experimental class, there were 20 students with the highest score of 100. while in the control class there were students with the highest score of 67. In the descriptive analysis, the average learning outcomes of experimental class students were 54.05 and those in the control class were 42.73, meaning that the average learning outcomes in the experimental class were higher. The evidence for the hypothesis based on the comparison of t table and t table is 1.034 > 5.002 and the results are significant 0.001 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be said that there is an influence of the scientific approach on the thematic learning outcomes of class V students.
