Abstract
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan maggot segar sebagai pakan alternatif terhadap kualitas telur itik Mojosari petelur. Materi yang digunakan itik petelur umur 28 minggu sebanyak 60. Perlakuannya adalah sebagai berikut: (T0 = 100% pakan jadi), (T1 = 5% maggot segar + 100% pakan jadi), (T2 = 10% maggot segar + 100% pakan jadi), (T3 = 15% maggot segar + 100% pakan jadi). Parameter yang diukur meliputi konsumsi ransum, produktivitas itik harian, tebal cangkang, berat telur dan berat cangkang. Jika hasil analisis berdampak signifikan, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak Duncan’s. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produktivitas itik harian, tebal cangkang, berat telur dan berat cangkang. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penambahan maggot segar 5% lebih efektif meningkatkan produktivitas telur itik mojosarai dari puncak produksi sampai layer II.
