Abstract

Halal tourism aims to increase satisfaction to the community or tourists in the tourism industry on Pandang Island, Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency. The main problem in this research is the background because there is still infrastructure that is not yet available and the weakness of halal tourism in terms of facilities, services, and cleanliness in tourist objects. This study aims to determine how the influence of infrastructure development for Pulau Pandang Halal Tourism on the public's response to the potential for the opening of Pulau Pandang Halal Tourism, Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency. In writing this thesis, the author uses a field research approach, data analysis with validity tests, reliability tests, and simple regression tests using the SPSS 20.0 application. The results of the study indicate that the infrastructure development of Pulau Pandang Halal Tourism has a significant influence on the public's response to the potential for the opening of Pulau Pandang Halal Tourism, Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency. The level of influence can be seen from R square is 58.4%, while the remaining 41.6% is influenced by other factors
