Abstract
Pada bulan Maret 2018 didapatkan masih banyak bayi yang tidak mendapatkan ASI eksklusif dengan alasan volume ASI yang dihasilkan oleh ibu sedikit bahkan tidak bisa keluar, ibu bekerja, tidak ada dukungan dari suami dan keluarga. Upaya yang telah diberikan untuk meningkatkan pemberian ASI eksklusif di kelurahan Wonokromo adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan kepada kader ASI dan ibu hamil tentang manfaat ASI eksklusif, cara menyusui dan memerah ASI, cara penyimpanan ASI. Namun, belum dilakukan pelayanan berupa pemantauan dan pendampingan dalam praktik pemberian ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada kader ASI kelurahan Wonokromo tentang tentang pemberian pelayanan dalam praktik pemberian ASI sehingga masyarakat dapat mengidentifikasi masalah dalam praktik pemberian ASI serta dapat memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini dikerjakan dengan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan pre posttest group design. Besar sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling yaitu 40 kader ASI kelurahan Wonokromo. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar obervasi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat peningkatan pelayanan dalam pemberian ASI oleh kader ASI.In March 2018, in Wonoromo Urban Village, 85 babies out of a total of 267 babies aged 0 - 6 months did not receive exclusive breastfeeding because the volume of milk produced by the mother was small and could not even come out, the mother worked, there was no support from her husband and family. Efforts that have been made to increase exclusive breastfeeding in the Wonokromo district are to provide counseling to breastfeeding cadres and pregnant women about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, how to breastfeed and express breastmilk, how to store breast milk. However, services in the form of monitoring and assistance have not been provided in the practice of breastfeeding. This study aims to provide knowledge and skills to the cadres of ASI in the Wonokromo district of providing services in breastfeeding practices so that the community can identify problems in breastfeeding practices and provide solutions to overcome these problems. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental design with a pre posttest group design. The sample size used was total sampling, namely 40 ASI cadres in Wonokromo district. The instrument used was an observation sheet. The results obtained are that after being given training, the number of ASI cadres who can provide good service is 50%. The conclusion in this study is that training for breastfeeding cadres can improve services for breastfeeding mothers in breastfeeding. Continuous assistance and guidance is needed for breastfeeding cadres so they can provide quality services as an effort to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding.
