Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of motivation and transformational leadership style of school principals on teacher performance through job satisfaction of State Middle School teachers in North Penajam Paser District, East Kalimantan. This research method uses a quantitative research approach. The research population was 36 teachers, hereinafter referred to as research respondents. The research results show that teacher work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance. Transformational leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance. Work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on teacher performance. There is an indirect relationship between work motivation variables and teacher performance through job satisfaction. There is an indirect influence between transformational leadership style variables on teacher performance through job satisfaction.
