Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how much influence compensation and the work environment have on the performance of employees of the Cirebon City Drinking Water Company. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive verification. The data collection technique used in this study is primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population of this study was 188 permanent employees of Perumda Air Drinking Tirta Giri Nata City of Cirebon. This study uses a saturated sampling technique so that the number of samples is the same as the population, namely 188. This study uses path analysis to determine how much influence compensation and work environment have on employee performance. Compensation significance value is (0.000) < (0.05) and work environment (0.000) < (0.05), compensation and work environment variables have a significant positive effect on employee performance.
