Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze: 1) The influence of organizational commitment on the performance of employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia Jayapura Branch, 2) The influence of Islamic work ethics on the performance of employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia Jayapura Branch and 3) The influence of organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics simultaneously on performance employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia Jayapura Branch. This type of research is quantitative research. The population of this research is all employees who work at the Jayapura Branch of Bank Syariah Mandiri. The sample used in this research was 45 respondents. Data collection methods using interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The instrument was tested using a validity test using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha. Classic assumption tests include normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 software application. The research results show that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Islamic work ethics partially has no effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics influence employee performance.
