Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial performance as measured by Return On Equity, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Macroeconomics as measured by inflation, exchange rates, interest rates on stock prices in investment sub-sector companies on the IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange). 2015-2019 period, either simultaneously or partially. In this study, the population used is 11 investment companies, and the sample selected using purposive sampling method is 7 companies. the type of research used is quantitative, with the research location and source www.idx.co.id. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis which is assisted by the SPSS program with a significant level of 0.05 or 5%. based on the type of investigation, this study wants to prove a causal relationship between the independent variables Return On Equity (X1), Current Ratio (X2), Debt to Equity Ratio (X3), inflation (X4), exchange rates (X5), interest rates (X6) jointly affect the stock price. As for the partial test results, Return On Equity, inflation, and interest rates have no significant effect on stock prices, then Current Ratio and exchange rates have an insignificant negative effect on stock prices, while the Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant effect on stock prices.
