Abstract

The ability of ecoliteracy and an attitude of caring for the environment is very important to be improved at this time in the future. Activities that can increase the ability of ecoliteracy and environmental care have been neglected by some circles, it is necessary to hold green consumer activities for these two abilities. This study aims to measure how much influence green consumer activities have on the ability of ecoliteracy and environmental care attitudes in primary school students. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The research population was 344 students. The research sample consisted of 68 students, 34 students in the experimental class in class IVA and 34 students in the control class in class IVB. The data collection technique used is to measure the ecoliteracy ability and environmental care attitude of students. The research instrument used was a test sheet for the ecoliteracy ability and environmental care attitude of students. The data analysis technique used quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study can identify that the ability of ecoliteracy and environmental care in the group of students with green consumer activities in class IVA is higher than the ability of ecoliteracy and environmental care in the control group in IVB. Green consumer activities have a significant effect on the ability of ecoliteracy and environmental care attitudes of students in class IVA at the 003 Ujungbatu state primary school. Green consumer activities must be carried out regularly by teachers.
