Abstract

State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as the main element of human resources that has a role to the success of government and development. This is why it can be said that ASN Performance is very important for the sustainability of the program. From some previous studies there are many factors that affect performance. However, of the many factors that affect performance there are the most important, namely the workforce or human resources itself, including Emotional Intelligence and Ability. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence between Emotional Intelligence and Ability to Asn Performance in the Department of Horticultural Food Crops and Plantation Situbondo both simultaneously and partially. This study uses quantitative methods using multiple linear regression analysis. Respondents to this study were 36 ASN people from a population of 119 ASN. The selection of respondents uses simple random sampling techniques. From this study, it was obtained that the results of multiple linear regression analysis equations are Y = 2,871 + 0.702 X1 + 0.195 X2 which means that there is a positive and unidirectional relationship between variable X and variable Y. emotional intelligence variables significantly affect the performance of ASN by obtaining a value of Significance (Sig) of Emotional Intelligence variable (X1) of 0.000. Capability significantly affects ASN performance with a variable Capability (X2) Significance (Sig) value of 0.026. because of the Sig value. 0.026 < probability of 0.05. Simultaneously / Together Emotional Intelligence and Ability also had a significant effect on ASN Performance by obtaining a value of significance (Sig.) in the F test of 0.000. Due to the significance of 0.000 < 0.05 simultaneously concluded Emotional Intelligence and Ability had a significant effect on ASN Performance.
