Abstract

Work discipline is one of the most important factors in human resource management. Human resources, as one of the resources in the organization, have important roles and responsibilities in achieving organizational goals. This research was conducted to determine the level of employee discipline, employee performance, and the effect of work discipline on the performance of Widyaiswara employees in Development center for science educators. This study uses a descriptive verification method with a quantitative approach, accompanied by a literature study. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of calculations using non-parametric statistical techniques and the Spearman Rank Correlation method show that the relationship between the two variables based on the value of the correlation coefficient on variables X (work discipline) and Y (employee performance) is close to the moderate category with a positive and significant relationship. Based on these results, it is hoped that the Head of the Development center for science educators, as a party assessing employee performance, can pay more attention to and act strictly on employee discipline. With High work discipline and good employee performance will help achieve more optimal organizational goals.
