Abstract
The research aimed to discover the influence of explosive, coordination of hand and eyes and self confidence directly toward shooting ability in basketball. And to examine the Indirect influence of explosive and coordination of hand and eyes Toward shooting ability based on self confidence.The research employed Path Analysis design with samples were the members of STKIP YPUP Makassar taken by using Purposive Sampling technique.
 The result of the reseach based on the regression analysist test stucture 1 and structure 2 showed that the direct influence of explosive toward self confidence was 0,029. Direct influence of coordination of hand and eyes toward self confidence was 0,000. Direct influence of explosive toward shooting ability was 0,026. Direct Influence of coordination of hand and eyes toward shooting ability was 0,023. Direct influence of self confidence toward shooting ability was 0,007.
 The result of the research based on the score of Standardized Coefficients Beta revealed that indirect influence of explosive toward shooting abilty through self confidence was 0,238. Indirect influence of coordination of hand and eyes toward shooting abilty through self confidence was 0,507.
