Abstract
This study was conducted to look at the influence of Home Economics (ERT) among boys' Middle School students in Johor Bahru. This study is focused on three research objectives, namely the level of student interest, the level of student knowledge, and the factors that encourage students to participate in the ERT program. A total of 155 students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of Sultan Abu Bakar College, Johor Bahru were selected to be respondents in this study. This study uses a questionnaire method to obtain information from the respondents. The questionnaire that was used contains four parts to answer all the objectives of this study. The data from the study was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 28.0. The results of the study show that the knowledge and interest in the field of ERT among the male students of Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar, Johor Bahru are at a high level. The motivation factor for male students' involvement in the field of ERT also shows that peer influence recorded the highest mean and parental influence showed the lowest mean number. The researcher hopes that the results of the study can be used to further enhance the involvement of male students in the field of ERT. At the end of this study, the researcher put forward some suggestions for other parties to conduct further research in the future.
