Abstract

This study examined the effect of government expenditures on education, provincial minimum wages, and employment on the per capita income of Aceh province during 2001-2020. This study used secondary data for 20 years. This study used the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) analysis method to analyze the data. The results indicated that in the short term, government expenditure on education and the provincial minimum wage positively but insignificantly influenced per capita income, and labor absorption negatively but insignificantly influenced per capita income. In the long term, government expenditure on education positively but insignificantly influenced per capitaincome, provincial minimum wage positively and significantly influenced per capita income, and employment negatively but insignificantly affected per capita incomeKeywords: Government Expenditure on Education, Provincial Minimum Wage, LaborAbsorption, Per capita Income, ARDL
