Abstract

The objective of this work is to investigate frequency-dependent characteristics for the process of external magnetic field penetration into the ITER vacuum vessel, in order to provide input for a preliminary study of the capability of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER)[1] side correction coil (CC) to control the Resistive Wall instability Mode (RWM). The specific purpose of the work was to simulate the processes of oscillating magnetic field penetration through the ITER Vacuum Vessel (VV) at different frequencies.
