learning conditions for class IV Science at SDIT Ibadurrahman where student achievement is still relatively low. In this case the researcher tried to overcome these problems through the use of contextual learning models. The use of contextual models in the learning process is expected to help students' understanding of science subjects, so that students' learning achievement can increase. Formulation of the problem : (1) How to increase student activity through contextual learning models in science subjects? (2) How to increase student cooperation through contextual learning models in science subjects? (3) How is the learning achievement of students increased through contextual learning models in science subjects?. This study used Class Action Research for two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDIT Ibadurrahman. The results of the study show that the application of contextual learning models can improve science learning achievement. This can be proven by an increase in student learning achievement from cycle I to cycle II. it can be concluded that the application of contextual learning can improve the science learning achievement of class IV students at SDIT Ibadurrahman.
